Anton Lienert-Brown is a dynamic midfielder who made his All Blacks debut in 2016 as an injury replacement during the Investec Rugby Championship. A product of Christchurch Boys’ High School, he represented New Zealand Under-20s in 2014 and 2015 before debuting for the Chiefs in 2014.

Lienert-Brown has been a consistent performer at international level, earning over 80 caps for the All Blacks including as part of the 2019 Rugby World Cup squad. In July 2025, Lienert-Brown returned to the All Blacks after a three-month absence due to a broken collarbone.

His sharp defensive reads and distribution skills make him a valuable and versatile midfielder.
