Justine McGregor is a rising New Zealand rugby talent who attended St Mary’s College in Wellington, where she excelled in both school rugby and sevens.
She made her Farah Palmer Cup debut for Wellington Pride in 2022 at just 16 years old, quickly establishing herself as a versatile backline player. McGregor has continued to shine in provincial rugby, scoring multiple tries and making key contributions at centre and wing. Her performances earned her selection to the Black Ferns XV in 2023, marking her first step onto the international fifteens stage.
She also joined the Black Ferns Sevens programme, making her international debut at the 2024 Dubai Sevens.
Known for her pace, attacking instinct, and adaptability, McGregor is regarded as one of New Zealand’s most exciting young rugby prospects, with a promising future in both fifteens and sevens.
