Black Ferns Sevens
Kelly Brazier is one of the most accomplished players in the history of the game.
She began her career as a teen in Otago, debuting for the Black Ferns in 2009, and becoming a full-time professional sevens player in 2014.
She has gone on to win four World Cup titles – two each in XVs and sevens, a Commonwealth Games Gold, an Olympic silver and gold medal. She has been part of six World Series winning Black Ferns sevens squads.
In dramatic Commonwealth Games Final, Brazier scored an 80-metre run away in extra time to claim the Gold medal for the Black Ferns Sevens.
Brazier's trademark step and ability to direct a team make her a vital part of both national teams.
Brazier has a desire to coach rugby once her playing days finish and has already worked with Bay of Plenty age group teams.
