BIOGRAPHY
Kelsey Teneti attended Hamilton Girls' High School and was an age-grade hockey player and waka ama athlete.
Playing for Waikato in the Farah Palmer Cup, Teneti was named in the Chiefs squad for their historic match against the Blues at Eden Park in 2021, the first ever women’s Super match.
Teneti was contracted to the Black Ferns Sevens team in her first year out of high school and made her debut in Dubai 2022. Earlier that same year she was called in as an injury cover for the Black Ferns XVs squad for the Pacific Four Series and debuted against Australia.
