Kelsey Teneti is a contracted Black Ferns Sevens player, and was called into the Black Ferns squad for the Pacific Four Series in 2022 as injury cover.Teneti joined five other former Hamilton Girls' High School students in the Black Ferns Sevens set up in 2021.
A age-grade hockey and waka ama athlete, Teneti's talent in rugby shone through in Hamilton, impressing in both XV and sevens. In her last year of school was a a member of the FPC-winning premiership Waikato team.
