The Black Ferns have arrived in Auckland and turned their attention to Australia ahead of their first home Test of the year at Go Media Stadium on Saturday, August 22.
The squad comes together off the back of Friday afternoon’s fast-paced internal hit-out against the Black Ferns XV in Upper Hutt, which provided valuable preparation ahead of a busy international programme.
Prop Mo’omo’oga Palu and halfback Tara Turner are unavailable for selection this week due to injury. Palu sustained a concussion during the match, while Turner strained her hamstring.
Capped Black Ferns Pip Love, a loosehead prop, and halfback Ariana Bayler have joined the squad as injury cover for the week in Auckland.
The Australia Test marks the start of an important stretch for the Black Ferns, with a significant international schedule ahead as they build through the remainder of 2026.
