Vici-Rose Green has made significant strides in her rugby career, emerging as a dynamic forward in the Black Ferns. Her versatility allows her to excel both as a hooker and loose forward. Hailing from Morrinsville in the Waikato, Green represented her province in the Farah Palmer Cup and played for Chiefs Manawa in Super Rugby Aupiki. She then earned selection for the Black Ferns XV in 2023, signalling her potential at international level.

In 2025, Green was committed to her craft which saw her make her Test debut for the Black Ferns against USA at the Pacific Four Series final in Auckland. Her impact saw her later secure a spot in the Women’s Rugby World Cup squad in England.

Off the field, Green remains passionate about development the women and girls’ space, actively engaging with young players and supporting grassroots rugby initiatives.
