Promoter

New Zealand Rugby Commercial LP ("the Promoter"), a limited partnership registered in New Zealand, acting through its general partner, New Zealand Rugby Commercial GP Limited, 100 Molesworth Street, Thorndon, Wellington 6011.

Relevant Territories

New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Japan, the 50 United States and the District of Colombia, Germany and metropolitan/continental France (including Corsica).

Entry Restrictions

Entrants must be 18 years of age or above.

Promotion Period

The overall Promotion starts at 00:00 NZT on Friday, 14 February 2025 and ends when the Super Rugby Pacific final match starts, currently scheduled for Saturday, 21 June 2025 (see below fixture and match schedule links for the most up to date information). Entries will not be accepted after this time.

There are multiple rounds that feature during the Promotion which are tied to the Super Rugby Pacific and Super Rugby Aupiki 2025 seasons and the rounds played within them. Rounds may have multiple matches within them with the leaderboards calculating entrant selections for all matches within each round. Entrants are able to make predictions on all matches until the relevant match starts. On and from the time the relevant match starts, entries will not be accepted for that particular match 

For Super Rugby Pacific, there is a total of 19 rounds made up of 16 initial rounds, 1 for the qualifying finals, 1 for the semi-finals and 1 for the grand final (each a Round). There are separate leaderboards for each fixture / Round and an overall leaderboard for Super Rugby Pacific.  

For Super Rugby Aupiki, there is a total of 7 rounds made up of 6 initial fixtures and 1 for the final (each a Round). There are separate leaderboards for each fixture / Round and an overall leaderboard for Super Rugby Aupiki.

If any fixture or match changes based on the schedules outlined above, timings will also be updated within the Promotion.  

The overall leaderboards close when the relevant final match starts.

Entry Procedure

To enter the Promotion, all entrants must do each and all of the following:

  • Successfully sign up to NZR+ (or successfully log in if the entrant already has an account), including accepting the relevant terms and conditions and privacy policy while inputting the required information. The promotion is playable on both the app and desktop versions of NZR+
  • Enter the Promotion by clicking on the Gaming tab;
  • Choose a nickname in the Welcome page and click confirm where you're also confirming that you agree to these Promotion terms and conditions; and
  • On each available Round, click predict now under each match that the entrant wishes to make a prediction on.
  • Make the relevant predictions on each available match under each available Round. When completed, click submit. Entrants can edit their predictions by clicking edit predictions for each available match.
  • Entrants can see their place on each relevant leaderboard by clicking the leaderboards tab and by clicking on the relevant leaderboard and Round.

No payment is required to enter the promotion.

Maximum Number of Entries

Entrants may enter once for each Round. Each Round leaderboard will be calculated from the total match predictions entered in that Round. The overall leaderboards will be calculated from the total scores of each Round.

Judging Criteria

The entrant that scores the highest and therefore features the highest in the relevant leaderboard will be the winner. The winners will be judged, and all prizes awarded, across all jurisdictions rather than by separate jurisdiction. Points in each match are calculated as follows: 

  1. What will be the final score? – up to 60 points available 

  1. Entrants have the opportunity to earn up to 60 points for getting this correct – 20 points for the correct home team score, 20 points for the correct away team score and 20 points for correctly predicting the overall outcome of the match.  

  1. For the scoring or predictions 

  1. If the entrant guesses the score correctly for that team, they earn 20 points for that score prediction. 

  1. If the entrant is 1 to 5 points away from the correct answer, they earn 10 points for that score prediction. 

  1. If the entrant is 6 to 10 points away from the correct answer, they earn 6 points for that score prediction.  

  1. If the entrant is 11 to 15 points away from the correct answer, they earn 2 point for that score prediction.  

  1. Which team will score the first try? – 10 points available  

  1. Entrants have the opportunity to earn 10 points for getting this correct. There are no partial points offered for this prediction.  

  1. Which minute will any team score the first point? – up to 10 points 

  1. Entrants have the opportunity to earn up to 10 points for getting this correct.  

  1. For the time prediction: 

  1. If the entrant guesses the minute correctly, they earn 10 points for that time prediction.  

  1. If the entrant is one minute away from the correct answer, they earn 5 points for that time prediction.  

  1. If the entrant is two minutes away from the correct answer, they earn 3 points for that time prediction.  

  1. If the entrant is three minutes away from the correct answer, they earn 1 point for that time prediction.  

  1. Who will be ahead at half-time? – 10 points 

  1. Entrants have the opportunity to earn 10 points for getting this correct. There are no partial points offered for this prediction.  

  1. Which half will be the higher scoring half? – 10 points 

  1. Entrants have the opportunity to earn 10 points for getting this correct. There are no partial points offered for this prediction.  

  1. How many conversions will there be in total? – 10 points 

  1. Entrants have the opportunity to earn 10 points for getting this correct. For the conversion prediction: 

  1. If you guess the conversion correctly, you earn 10 points for that prediction. 

  1. If you are one conversion away from the correct answer, you earn 5 points for that prediction. 

  1. If you are two conversions away from the correct answer, you earn 3 points for that prediction. 

  1. If you are three conversions away from the correct answer, you earn 1 point for that prediction.  

If there is a tie-break required, which is incredibly unlikely, the entrant who created their NZR+ profile first will be chosen as the relevant winner. 

Prize

There are 28 prizes as follows:

NZD$150 All Blacks Store voucher per Round (26 Rounds in total – 19 for Super Rugby Pacific and 7 for Super Rugby Aupiki) 

NZD$250 All Blacks Store voucher for each overall leaderboard winner (2 overall leaderboard winners in total – 1 for Super Rugby Pacific and 1 for Super Rugby Aupiki) 

Total Prize Pool: NZD$4,400 worth of All Blacks Store vouchers overall.  

Vouchers expire after 24 months of issue and are for online use only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. The voucher can only be used once and must be used in a single transaction. 

Notification of Winner

The winner will be notified by email within 14 days of each Round / overall leaderboards closing. The winner's name and country of residence may be published on the Promoter's website and social media channels.

Claiming the Prize

The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner via email. If, after 28 days of Notification of Winner, the winner has not claimed their prize, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and give it to the next highest ranked entrant.

Special Conditions

The Promotion is run through LiveLike Technology. Entrant shall not: (i) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, translate, convert, or apply any procedure or process to the LiveLike Technology, including in order to ascertain, derive, and/or appropriate for any reason or purpose, the source code of the LiveLike Technology or any trade secret information or process contained in any of the LiveLike Technology; (ii) use the LiveLike Technology in any manner that violates in any law, rule, regulation or any other legal or regulatory requirement imposed by any regulatory or government agency, or (iii) assert (or authorize, assist, or encourage any third party to assert) any intellectual property infringement claims against LiveLike or any of its affiliates or licensors regarding any portions of the LiveLike Technology. Entrant shall not utilize the LiveLike Technology for (a) transmission of offensive, sexually explicit, illegal, dangerous, gratuitously violent, harassing, defamatory, or threatening content or activity which LiveLike, in its reasonable discretion, deems objectionable; (b) promoting, encouraging or facilitating any illegal activity, violating the law or the rights of any third party (including, without limitation, intellectual property rights, rights of privacy, or rights of personality); or (c) imposing an unreasonable or disproportionately large load or circumventing or attempting to circumvent any filtering, security measures or other features designed to protect the LiveLike Technology.


Conditions of Entry

  1. These Conditions of Entry incorporate and must be read together with the Schedule for the Promotion. The Schedule prevails to the extent of any inconsistency with these Conditions of Entry. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
  2. Any capitalised terms used in these Conditions of Entry have the meaning given in the Schedule, except where stated otherwise.
  3. These Conditions of Entry apply to individuals resident in New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, United Kingdom, Japan, and Argentina only. For terms and conditions that apply to individuals resident in other jurisdictions see  https://www.allblacks.com/website-terms/livelike-allblacks 
Eligibility
  1. Entry to the Promotion is open to individuals who satisfy the Entry Restrictions and are resident in the Relevant Territories.
  2. Directors, management, employees, officers and contractors (and their immediate families) of the Promoter or New Zealand Rugby Union Incorporated (an incorporated society related to the Promoter) or of the agencies or organisations associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter. “Immediate families” means spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), whether or not they live in the same household as the director, manager, employee, officer or contractor.
Entry
  1. The Promotion will be conducted during the Promotion Period.
  2. To enter the Promotion, entrants must complete the Entry Procedure during the Promotion Period.
  3. Entrants may enter the Promotion up to the Maximum Number of Entries. Multiple entries (where permitted) must be submitted separately and must each separately meet the requirements specified in the Entry Procedure (if applicable).
  4. Entries must be received by the Promoter during the Promotion Period. Entries are deemed to have been received at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission by the entrant.
Entry Content
  1. Incomplete and ineligible entries will be deemed invalid. Entries will also be deemed invalid if they breach these Conditions of Entry as determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion or any other content guidelines notified by the Promoter during the entry process for the Promotion.
  2. Where the Entry Procedure involves the submission of a photo, video or any other kind of artistic work, all entrants grant to the Promotor a non-exclusive, non-revocable, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, publish and display the entry in any media or distribution method, including publication on websites and internet applications without restriction and without making any payment to the entrant. Unless otherwise agreed by the Promoter, materials provided with entries will not be returned to entrants.
  3. For promotions conducted via social media, an entrant’s entry must not include:
    1. The name or social media handle of any other person without that person’s express consent. Entrants warrant that if any such content is included, they have obtained the express consent of the relevant person to tag them in the Promotion post set out in the Schedule; or
    2. any content that contravenes any law, infringes the rights of any person or is obscene, offensive, potentially defamatory, discriminatory, indecent or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate (which includes, without limitation, any content involving malice, violence or swearing).
  4. The Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, edit, modify, delete, remove or take-down any part of an entrant’s entry if it considers it inappropriate.
Judging
  1. The Promotion is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. Each valid entry will be individually judged based on, amongst other things, the Judging Criteria. The judges' decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  2. If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these Conditions of Entry, or fails to claim the Prize within one month of the Notification of Winner, the non-complying or non-responsive entry will be discarded and a new winner of the prize will be determined by selecting the next best ranking entry (as determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion or as set out in the Judging Criteria).
  3. Winners will be notified as specified in the Schedule. The Promoter and the companies and agencies associated with this Promotion may also publish the name and country or state of residence of winners on its website(s).
Prizes
  1. The prize(s) are specified in the Schedule. The prize(s) are subject to any restrictions specified in the Schedule. The total prize pool is specified in the Schedule.
  2. If a prize includes vouchers:
    1. the vouchers are only valid until the voucher expiry date specified on the voucher or by the provider, and are subject to any terms and conditions imposed by the provider. Once awarded, the Promoter is not liable for any voucher that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way; and
    2. shipping costs and any taxes, duties or the like associated with purchase or receipt of the item(s) purchased using the vouchers will be the responsibility of the winner and the Promoter will not be liable for such costs, taxes, duties or the like.
Claiming the Prize(s)
  1. Prizes must be claimed in accordance with the instructions set out in the Schedule.
No Association
  1. For promotions conducted via social media, the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta and entrants acknowledge that any information they provide in connection with the Promotion is provided to the Promoter and not to Instagram or Meta. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Promotion will be directed to the Promoter, not to Instagram or Meta. Entrants release Instagram, Meta and any associated companies from all liability arising in respect of the Promotion.
General
  1. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any problems or technical malfunction of any communication network or for any late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries.
  2. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Conditions of Entry. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  3. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and, except for cash prizes, cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation. The value of each prize is accurate as at the commencement of this Promotion. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of a prize after that date. If a prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute it for another item of equal or higher value, subject to the approval of the relevant authorities in the Relevant Territory, if required. If a winner does not take an element of a prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize. The Promoter accepts no other liability or responsibility for any loss incurred by a winner or any other party if any prize (or any part of a prize) is unavailable for any reason.
  4. Nothing in these Conditions of Entry limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 in New Zealand or the Competition and Consumer Act in Australia, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in Australia (the “Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion.
  5. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion does not or is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the relevant authorities in the Relevant Territories, if required.
  6. The Promoter’s decisions in connection with the Promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  7. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage to or delay in transit of prizes.
  8. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
  9. Entrants' personal information will be collected by the Promoter for the purpose of administering the Promotion and delivering the Prize.  The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to companies and agencies connected with this Promotion and to relevant authorities in the Relevant Territory, and the winner’s name and Territory of residence may be published in accordance with these Conditions of Entry and as required under relevant legislation. Entrants located in the United Kingdom may opt out of publication by contacting [email protected].  The Promoter is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), applicable privacy laws in each Relevant Territory, and the Promoter's privacy policy  available on the Promoter’s website at https://www.allblacks.com/privacy-policy/.  You can contact us at any time regarding your personal information through our Privacy Officer who can be contacted via post (Privacy Officer, New Zealand Rugby Commercial LP, 100 Molesworth Street, Thorndon, Wellington 6011) or email ([email protected]). By participating in the Promotion Entrants consent to the storage, transfer and processing of their personal information as provided in these terms and conditions. Entrants shall have as to their personal information the rights provided by Argentine law, particularly under Law 25,326 as amended. 
  10. Except where prohibited by law, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these terms and conditions shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the New Zealand. All participants consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
  11. Should any part of these Conditions of Entry be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining Conditions of Entry. Any invalid clause shall be replaced by an economically comparable provision.
