Kele Lasaqa is the latest Fijian-born player to pull on the All Blacks Sevens jersey, earning his debut call-up for the HSBC Dubai SVNS in November 2025. From Ucunivanua Village in Verata, Fiji, Lasaqa impressed selectors after an outstanding performance for Bay of Plenty during the NPC. He was one of three debutants selected by coach Tomasi Cama after standing out at the Ignite7 tournament in Tauranga.

Despite his small stature at 173cm, Lasaqa's pace and elusiveness make him one of the most dangerous backs in the squad. At just 19, he is already establishing himself as an exciting presence on the SVNS circuit.
