Nikora Broughton (Ngārauru, Ngāti Ruanui) has earned recognition through his consistent performances for Bay of Plenty and the Highlanders, developing into one of the competition’s most industrious loose forwards. A former captain of the undefeated New Zealand Barbarians Under-20 side, Broughton has continued to build his reputation through his physicality, work rate and ability to influence matches on both sides of the ball.
