A Sky Super Rugby Aupiki winner with the Blues, Jaymie Kolose graduated to the Black Ferns Sevens programme ahead of the 2024–25 season finale in Los Angeles, where she was in line for her first international tournament. Kolose quickly made an impact across the SVNS circuit, playing a key role in New Zealand's 24–17 victory over Australia to win the Vancouver Sevens.

A powerful and direct runner, Kolose brings strong footwork, acceleration and defensive commitment to the Black Ferns Sevens programme. Her ability to challenge defenders and generate momentum through contact continues to strengthen the side’s attacking threat.
