Following the Crusaders impressive 15-3 win over the Blues in Christchurch, Sam Given has proclaimed Richie Mo’unga as the greatest Super Rugby player of all-time. Do you agree?
“Richie Mo’unga is the greatest player in Super Rugby history. Not the best rugby player to play Super Rugby, that title belongs to Richie McCaw. What makes Mo’unga the greatest Super Rugby player of all time is quite simple, he’s been the most important player on the best team in rugby history. It’s hard to think of a way he hasn’t led the Crusaders to victory. With multiple titles won home and away, I don’t think its outlandish to say he has been the most impactful and greatest player in Super Rugby history. PS: He’s getting title #7 This Year.”
The Crusaders emphatic victory over the Blues has also set up a huge round 14 clash between the Blues and Hurricanes says Jacob Wilson.
“The Crusaders have booked themselves a home quarter final with that win over the Blues on the weekend. The loss is extra costly for the Blues as they will now be playing the Hurricanes in week 14 to decide which one of them will host the other at the quarterfinals stage, as I reckon the winner of this match will qualify fourth and the loser fifth.”
Congrats to Sam Given and Jacob Wilson who have won double passes to a Super Rugby Pacific match of their choice for having their ‘hot take’ published.
