Justine McGregor became the latest school-girl sensation to graduate into the Black Ferns Sevens in her first year out of St Mary's College in Wellington. With two seasons of Farah Palmer Cup under her belt, McGregor was also part of the Black Ferns XV squad and the New Zealand Under-18 Girls Sevens team in 2023.

A hard-working and versatile player, McGregor brings defensive intensity, strong support play and composure under pressure to the Black Ferns Sevens programme. Her energy and willingness to contribute across all areas of the game make her a dependable presence within the squad.
