He won the Meads Cup with Thames Valley in 2024 before heading south, where he scored twice in five games for the Southland Stags in the NPC. Morgan stood out at the Ignite7 tournament in Tauranga and earned his All Blacks Sevens debut call-up for the 2025–26 season opener in Dubai.
