Jayden Keelan was spotted by coach Tomasi Cama playing club rugby in Manawatū, he had previously played one season in Spain and represented Wairarapa Bush in the 2023 Heartland Championship. Brought in for a series of trial matches against Tonga, he impressed enough to be offered a full-time contract. He made his All Blacks Sevens debut at the USA Sevens in Los Angeles in 2024.

A skillful and composed back, Keelan contributes speed, game awareness and support play to the All Blacks Sevens programme. His ability to identify space and maintain high involvement throughout matches continues to strengthen the side.
