Tone Ng Shiu has become one of the most respected and experienced figures in the All Blacks Sevens programme through his leadership and consistency on the international stage. Ng Shui made his international debut for New Zealand Sevens in 2017 and was named the 2019 New Zealand Rugby Sevens Player of the Year. He was named in the New Zealand squad for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo and was part of the All Blacks Sevens squad that won bronze at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Among just 15 players to have played 50 or more tournaments for the All Blacks Sevens, Ng Shiu captained the side to victory in Dubai in November 2025, which marked his historic 50th tournament appearance.

A physical and uncompromising forward, Ng Shiu brings strong defence, breakdown presence and leadership to the All Blacks Sevens environment. His experience, composure and ability to consistently deliver in high-pressure situations make him a vital member of the squad.
